Game of Thrones Inspired Editorial

To say that I love HBO's Game of Thrones is an understatement. It's full of love, action, drama and OMG the costumes... they are rich and refined garments full of detail and personality. The clothing on the 5th season inspired this photo shoot in the North Carolina mountains.

On the 5th season of Game of Thrones they highlighted female warriors from a country that was mostly desert. It inspired me to give our queen two bodyguards that were like Bedouin warriors of old Arabia. The Old Edwards Inn in Highlands, NC was the most perfect backdrop for creating a feeling of over the top fantasy with it's stoned mansion, evergreen foliage, and epic views.
